Canterbury Navy Torpedo Gin

Price range: £20.00 through £40.00

Powerful, historic and unapologetically bold.

Our Torpedo Navy Strength Gin takes its name from the very building we call home. In 1794, the Royal Navy commissioned The Foundry in Canterbury to forge a new naval weapon — the first torpedoes were made right here. On its maiden voyage in Herne Bay, the blast famously blew out almost every window in the seaside village.

It’s only fitting that we honour that explosive history with our gunpowder proof Navy Strength Gin.

Handcrafted from English barley within the City Walls of Canterbury, this 58% gin is distilled with bold juniper and a carefully balanced blend of botanicals. Expect vibrant citrus lift, powerful aromatics and a peppery bite on the finish.

Strong, structured and full of character, Torpedo is a gin that commands attention — whether enjoyed in a punchy G&T or a bold martini.

Distilled in the birthplace of the torpedo. Not for the faint-hearted.

I wanted powerful flavours to match the Navy alcohol content with a nice peppery finish. The ingredients give a nod to local and a seafaring history.
