In 1794 the Royal Navy commissioned The Foundry, now our home, to forge a new naval weapon. The first Torpedos were made right here and six months later on its maiden voyage in Herne Bay it blew out almost every window of the seaside village! It’s appropriate that we give you our gunpowder proof Navy Strength Gin, made with English Barley, Juniper and a blend of botanicals right here within the City Walls of Canterbury.
I wanted powerful flavours to match the Navy alcohol content with a nice peppery finish. The ingredients give a nod to local and a seafaring history.
