The East Kent Goldings, Canterbury Whitebine, Brambling Cross and early prolific hops impart a floral and citrus flavour with aromas of spicy marmalade and mandarin.

Hops grown at Canterbury Christ Church University, freshly picked and walked down to our brewery to be brewed with straight away whilst being blessed!

St Eanswythe is patron saint of Folkestone and has venerated in the town for 1400 years. Granddaughter of King Ethelbert and Queen Bertha, she is believed to have founded one of the earliest monastic communities in England (c.AD650-660) on the Bayle. To provide refreshments for the builders, Eanswythe is said to have miraculously diverted a spring and caused it to flow uphill into Folkestone. This is St Eanswythe’s Water, which runs into the Bayle Pond.
