Canterbury Apple Pie Moonshine
"When I discovered that the word Moonshine came from Kent and the smuggling of Canterbury wool to Europe, I had no choice but to make something new." — Jon
An ode to the infamous Moonshiners — the local Kent smugglers who gave the world the word — our Apple Pie Moonshine is made entirely from scratch at The Foundry. We start with our own grain-to-glass barley spirit, blend it with local Kent apple juice and our own brewed cider, then rest the whole lot on cinnamon sticks for ten days.
The result is warming, fragrant and dangerously smooth at 44.5%. Spiced apple on the nose, a gentle heat on the finish, and a story worth telling.
Small batch. Grain to glass. Canterbury made.
Best served gently warmed or over ice with a slice of apple.
