THE BREWPUB

We're delighted to offer Vegan / Vegetarian / Gluten Free Food, the suitable options are labelled on our menu and are staff are always able to advise.

Please note that Gluten free food is made in the same kitchen as food containing gluten. Whilst we take special care, we cannot guarantee that there will be no cross contamination.

The majority of our beers served are vegan friendly.

Our staff are well trained and always happy to assist you.

The Foundry BrewPub is essentially our tap room. Here you can try our beers and also our spirits, carefully crafted on the premises from grain to glass.

You can also enjoy delicious, home made food here too, especially designed to complement our drinks.

We do have a children's menu, with a selection of simple children's favourites. On Sundays we also offer a special child-size portion of our traditional roasts.

All children's meals come with ice-cream for dessert.

Highchairs and baby change facilities available.

Whilst we love dogs we do not allow them in the bar or restaurant. Dogs are very welcome at the table outside the large front door.

Whilst we don't make our own wine, we do sell a selection of fine wines from around the globe, by the glass and by the bottle.

We love hosting large groups here at The Foundry, we're set up to manage groups of up to 60 people for dining in our restaurant. Or up to 80 people including the bar area.

We do ask that you book in advance and you may have to pay a small deposit. You can choose from the main menu, or we can create specific set menus. Please email manager@thefoundrycanterbury.co.uk to discuss.

Our large barn room makes for an excellent entertaining space for corporate events, large tour groups or indeed just a party! Please contact us to discuss bespoke event.

Of course, you're welcome to come in any time for a coffee or any other hot drink. Perfect as an afternoon pick me up with one of our delicious desserts.

We are located right in the heart of Canterbury, a short walk from the Bus Station, in between the two Canterbury Train Stations and not far from the Whitefriars shopping centre.

Unfortunately we don't have a car park, Canterbury has various car parks around the city centre. Find out more here.

Shop

We aim to get orders out within 24 hours of receiving them (during business hours). We use either DHL or Royal Mail.

At this time we only deliver to mainland UK, excluding the Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland.

We do hope to offer broader distribution in the near future.

We do not accept returns.

Orders can be cancelled within 30 minutes or them being made. Please contact us straight away if you have a problem.

Lager 4-7°C

Porter/Stout 10-13°C

Copper to dark malty English Ales 10-13°C

Golden to copper Hoppy Ales 8-10°C

American style pale ale 4-7°C (Fridge temp)

Weiss beer 4-7°C (Fridge temp)

If you store our brewery-fresh draught beers in the fridge, the beer can suffer from a slight hazing caused by the proteins reacting to the change in temperature. This haze will not affect the flavour of the beer but will give it a less than clear look.

Our on tap draught ale will taste good for 7 days unopened from purchase and should be drunk within 2 days once opened.

Our bottled beer has a best before of 9 months from filling and should be consumed within 3 months to be at their best.

All but one of our beers on the bar are vegan.

All our spirits are Gluten free.

The only ingredients added to the Gin is real Honey and Blackcurrant.

The Moonshine is our barley spirit with added Cider, Apple Juice and Cinnamon.

The Gins and the barley spirit are all gluten free after distillation.

Our beers are not certified gluten free.
