Created for a Canterbury celebration of Christopher Marlowe's famous tragedy Doctor Faustus, this beer brings together literature, local history and brewing. From Kentish hops to brewing within the city walls, it's a bottle with Canterbury at its heart.

Dr Faustus was created to celebrate Canterbury-born playwright Christopher Marlowe and his famous tragedy Doctor Faustus – a beer with a story rooted firmly in our city.

Brewed by us within Canterbury’s historic city walls using grain grown in the South of England and hops grown here in Kent, it’s a true celebration of local brewing and provenance.

Expect a smooth, malt-led brown ale with plenty of character – a proper Kentish beer with a distinctly Canterbury story.
